Return Policy
Items:
Items (not fabric) are returnable for
exchange or credit (no refunds) only if they have not been used.
Fabric:
Unless written arrangements were made before
purchase, fabric cut from a bolt is NOT returnable.
Notes:
Tax invoice (original or photocopy) must
accompany all returned merchandise. Exchanges or returns are not possible
without your tax invoice.
Return authorization is required on all
items. Please ring or email us to obtain a return authorisation number
prior to returning product.
All returns must be initiated within 20 days
of purchase and completed within 30 days of purchase except items
purchased prior to a holiday season (i.e. Christmas) which must be
initiated with 30 days or a reasonable amount of time determined in
written form on the sales slip or invoice at the time of purchase and
completed within 40 days of purchase.
There will normally be a restocking and
rehandling fee - currently 10% of the value of the returned goods.
Customer pays all shipping/postage charges
for returning product back to Silk Sewing Pty Ltd (minimum domestic
shipping each way is $6.00, International shipping/postage is
significantly higher).

Procedure to return items:
Request a return authorisation number by
phoning or emailing us. Please have your tax invoice ready and/or your
original order number.
Package the goods so that they are protected
in transit back to us.

Once the goods are received undamaged, your
account will be placed in credit for future purchases or exchange.
